Pictures from a Tahoe Thanksgiving

Ben and Christine invited us to the South Lake Tahoe cabin of Christine's sister and brother-in-law, along with Christine's mother. Here are Ben, Sky, Kelly, me and Nina. It was a relaxing three days, reading, eating, playing games and getting to know each other. A wedding unites not just the bride and groom, but families as well.

On Thanksgiving Day we hiked to Fallen Leaf Lake, shown here with Mt. Tallac behind it. Snow fell the night before, the first snow of the year that actually stayed on the ground. It was 14 yers ago that I first met Steve on a climb up Mt. Tallac to celebrate a friend's birthday.

There is much to give thanks for this year.
